Professional recognition is shown separately from individual specialist courses. The live record should always be used to check the instructor's current status.

Foundation Instructor
An entry-level indoor cycling instructor qualification has been verified by ICI. The qualification itself does not expire, but current CPD should be evidenced separately.

An entry-level qualification has been verified and the instructor holds ICI Affiliate recognition. Check the live record for the current validity date.

Endorsed Instructor
Advanced ICI professional recognition maintained through continuing professional development. Check the live record for the current validity date.
Understanding verification
Training recorded does not always mean qualification verified
Some people appear on the register because they have successfully completed specialist training with ICI, even where ICI has not verified an entry-level indoor cycling instructor qualification.
Where that is the case, the record will state this clearly. Inclusion on the register alone should not be treated as confirmation that a person is qualified to work as an indoor cycling instructor.
