Become an ICI training venue
Give ICI reliable access to a suitable indoor cycling studio on agreed course dates, and your organisation can receive a partner training place when we run a qualifying public course there.
Studio access for instructor training
We're not looking for commercial studio hire. We're looking for organisations that see value in an ongoing relationship with ICI.
Provides the studio
You make a suitable indoor cycling studio available to ICI on public course dates that we've agreed with you in advance.
We need a reliable training environment with working bikes and the practical facilities required to teach an instructor course.
Provides a partner place
When ICI runs a qualifying public course at your venue, your organisation can nominate one eligible person for the partner place.
One partner training place when an eligible ICI public course runs at your venue.This gives partner organisations an opportunity to develop their instructor team as courses take place.
What makes a useful ICI training venue?
It doesn't need to be flashy. It does need to work well for practical instructor training.
From individual centres to larger operators
We're interested in good venues and good working relationships, whether that's at one site or across a larger organisation.
What does the venue actually have to do?
We don't want hosting an ICI course to become another project for your team to manage.
ICI deals with the public course, learner bookings, course materials, teaching and assessment arrangements. The partner venue's main role is to make the agreed facilities available and ensure we can access them as arranged.
We'll confirm the practical details with you before a course is advertised.
Dates are agreed when they're needed
Becoming an ICI Studio Partner doesn't mean reserving a regular block of studio time for us. We contact the venue when we're looking at a potential course date and agree availability before anything is advertised.
Some locations may support courses more frequently than others. Demand, geography and the wider ICI schedule all affect how often we use a particular venue.
For that reason, we don't promise a particular number of courses or free training places each year.
Helping us take training to more places
A dependable venue can make a substantial difference to where we're able to offer face-to-face instructor training.
We consider each potential partner in the context of the wider training network. Sometimes an excellent studio may be too close to an existing venue; somewhere else may fill a particularly useful geographical gap.
If your location isn't one we're ready to use immediately, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be useful later.

We'll then be able to see whether the venue could fit into the ICI training network.
